DOT Pots™ are round 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" pots that hold 9 ounces. These are ready to use indoors or out. Since they come individually, use whatever size of tray you wish for your greenhouse or growing facility. Simply fill the DOT Pots™ completely with your choice of a seed/transplant starting mix, plant your choice of seeds or transplants and water gently on a regular basis. Be sure to keep the pot wall damp. After regular watering, the plant will grow and the roots will pass through the pot wall. Then off to the consumer they go! These are perfect for Organic growers.

DOT Pots™ are the only OMRI listed biodegradable plantable pots. DOT Pots™ are manufactured with natural ingredients: 80% wood fiber from sustainable thinning of spruce trees (no newspaper here) and 20% peat moss. No glue is added. This has two advantages – first, it allows the plant roots to grow right through the pot. Secondly, air and water flow freely through the entire container without the need for drain holes. The pot does not hold water, which can cause mold problems, and if outdoors, excessive rain drains freely. This creates a vigorous, non-girdled root system that spreads out uniformly and does not impede the growth of the plant. When transplanted, the plant does not go into transplant shock, since the roots are ready to feed the plant from the moment it is transplanted.
