Bean Beetle Control

Bean Beetles

Bean Beetles feed on beans leaving holes in both beans and leaves and stunting growth, and can quickly strip a plant to its stems. They will infest any variety of bean plants, as well as plants such as alfalfa, clover, cowpea, and kudzu. Most damage occurs in the summer months of July and August.

Bean Beetles are characterized by their yellow to bronze color and the 8 black spots arranged in three rows on each wing. They are common throughout most of the United States, except the Pacific Coast.

Try these organic and safe products to keep bean beetles at bay.
