Bean BeetlesBean Beetles feed on beans leaving holes in both beans and leaves and stunting growth, and can quickly strip a plant to its stems. They will infest any variety of bean plants, as well as plants such as alfalfa, clover, cowpea, and kudzu. Most damage occurs in the summer months of July and August.
