Tangle Trap is a trapping adhesive that allows you to capture flying insects (whitefly, aphids, carrot rust flies, fungus gnats, leafminer flies, thrips, apple maggot flies) or crawling insects (ants, beetles and others) without using harmful pesticides. This clear brushable formula does not mask color or attractant of traps and is completely organic! Tangle Trap will remain tacky down to 50°F and will stay on surfaces without running to 118° F. Allow to dry before use. Surfaces treated with Tangle Trap remain tacky until covered with insects or other debris.
Brushable Tangle-Trap, having reduced viscosity, is easily applied with a paintbrush. It is ideally suited for contoured trap surfaces. Spread on milk cartons, plastic jugs or bowl, or on our Apple Maggot Trap (8 oz. covers 16 spheres) and place the traps in your garden, orchards, and greenhouses.
You can also use Tangle-Trap Insect Trap Coating to refresh existing non-paper traps. Just clean first with Citra-Solv and reapply coating.
One quart covers from 6.4 to 46.5 sq ft, depending on thickness of coat. A thick coat is 1/16 inch; a thin coat is just a glaze.

I've used Tangle-Trap for years, but recently had trouble finding it locally. I was happy to see that Arbico was carrying it, as I'm already a customer.
I use it to make fly traps for my barn, and it works like a charm with no smell. The co-op ext office recommended 1st painting a large ball shiny black, then coating it with Tangle Trap and suspending it above each horse stall (out of reach of the horse), so now I'm trying this trap, too.
