If you need immediate insect control or knockdown, PyGanic® Crop Protection EC 1.4 II is the best pyrethrum (botanical pesticide derived from chrysanthemums) product available on the market today. If your problem is insect infestation on your horses, other livestock or poultry, you can use PyGanic in a fogger or as a spray. Or if your infestation is in your greenhouse, field crop, nursery, or orchard, Pyganic can be effectively sprayed with a wide variety of equipment. PyGanic® Crop Protection EC 1.4 II contains 1.4% Pyrethrin and is OMRI listed. Pyganic has been approved for use against more than 40 insects on more than 200 fruits and vegetables. What is more, it can be used in any season, whenever an insect infestation is observed. Pyganic can be applied on the day of harvest, but has an REI of 12 hoursapply it early in the morning, and harvest at dusk, if necessary. In addition, Pyganic has been approved for use on all growing crops, landscape and ornamental plants, in homes and other structures, in livestock premises and on livestock. That means just about anybody can use it to control insect pests! There are no restrictions concerning number of applications per season, because Pyganic rapidly breaks down in the environment, and there is no residual buildup. This also means that insects are not known to become resistant to Pyganic. Pyganic is a broad-spectrum insecticide and will kill beneficials, including honey bees. It is advisable to apply it early in the morning or at dusk to avoid killing bees. Our fly parasites are nocturnal, so applying Pyganic as a fog in the morning will not harm them. If other beneficials have already been put in place, plan to reapply them. Beneficials can be applied 1-2 days after Pyganic. When applying on vegetation, it is advisable to use a buffer with Pyganic if the pH of the final mixed solution is outside the range of 5.7-7.0. A surfactant will also increase coverage. Pyganic may be tank-mixed with other pest control products like Bacillus thuringiensis, Azadiractin, Spinosad, Neem Oil, and a host of other additives, fungicides, nutrients, surfactants and penetrants. It may be applied through irrigation systems or by compressed air or pump sprayers. PyGanic® Crop Protection EC 1.4 II has a normal usage rate of 1-4 pints/acre mixed with 100 gallons of water. The average rate is 2 pints/acre mixed with 100 gallons of water. See the formulation chart below, as well as label and MSDS for your specific crop and infestation problem, or if you have less than an acre to treat.

Why Restrictions? All products labeled as pesticides, whether the product is natural, organic or man-made, are regulated by each state. Restrictions for sale in a state occur because the manufacturer of the product chooses not to register that product there. If the product is not a pesticide, there may be other regulations that the vendor cannot easily meet having to do with labeling. The reason for non-registration is usually economic: each state requires a fee that is paid annually, or the cost of re-labeling for just one or a few states is too high. For instance, each pesticide registered for sale in Arizona is assessed a $100 fee yearly for each size product. If you would like this product in your state, let us know and we will communicate your interest to the manufacturer. If there is enough interest, the manufacturer may decide to register the product you want. In the meantime, call us and we will help you find a similar product that we can substitute that is registered in your state. Please call with any questions, toll free 1-800-827-2847.
