Clothes Moth Trap by BioCare - 2 Traps

The Clothes Moth Trap attracts and captures adult male clothes moths. It signals when an infestation is present, but does not control larvae on clothing or personal objects. Female moths are especially attracted to oily or soiled fabrics, where they lay their eggs. The moths avoid light and are therefore difficult to find and identify. The Clothes Moth Trap catches webbing cloths moth during their mating season by using a natural pheromone lure. If moths are found in the trap, take immediate measures to control the larvae. Search out damaged fabrics and destroy, dry clean or freeze them (in a deep freeze for at least 14 days). Use Diatomaceous Earth to stop larvae and adults in their tracks.

Easy Assembly:
Open box carefully. Remove inner parts. Peel release paper from enclosed sticky pad. Remove lure from foil pouch and place in center of sticky pad. Fold top and bottom flaps inside box. Insert pad as shown on back of package. Place trap where moths occur (bedroom closets). Use tab on side of box to pin trap to a wall at eye level. Replace every 12 weeks, or sooner if full of insects. Use traps all year round.

Great safe eco way to control clothes moths. I had a good deal of damage due to moths, I completely psycho cleaned the entire apt with a fine tooth comb, all rugs taken out, every inch inspected. Even though I got rid of the pests I noticed that they occasionally just come through the window. I use the traps as a precaution to prevent any more episodes. I do find a few moths in each trap as well, so I know its working!! And no chance of damaging rugs or clothes.

I have used these moth traps ever since the moths hid under the bed and hatched out a lot of larvae that ate a huge hole in the rug. If I open a new trap and set it up I usually get a moth or two in the first 24 hours. Then I will get a few over the next months. I haven't had any damage to any fabrics since I started using the traps. I do keep woolen sweaters in plastic bags all season to keep them safe.
