The format is easy to read – it includes labeled “Quick Tips” and, for the more advanced gardener, “Advanced Quick Tips.” The book even labels insightful anecdotes from each author – “Doug Tells All” and “Jess Tells All” appear in each chapter.
The Appendix of Grow Organic is so practical, too. Sixteen pages of colorful pictures illustrate their suggestions. There are lists of sources that have websites, as well as a glossary of organic terms. The book also has an index so you can easily find the page(s) for topics and tips in the book.
